The address is at 17 Eastcheap by 1895, following street renumbering; and also by 1895 this is called the Falstaff Restaurant and is still a restaurant in the 1915 Directory, but by 1921 it is just called the Falstaff and appears to be a pub again (and was still a pub in modern times, listed in 1983 and 1991 CAMRA East London Beer Guides as the Sir John Falstaff). *
