In 1925, the other buildings have gone and the Globe, looking rather bare, has survived only to serve the building workers. With WW1 breaking out the PLA building wasn't finished until 1922. The pub was itself finally demolished during the building of Walsingham House; 35 Seething Lane, opened 1929.
