Joseph Grose, corner of Weston street and Weston place, memorial signed by 384 persons, was opposed by Thomas Cornish Dixon, of the Friend at Hand; Joseph Roseblade, of the Perseverance and 93 other persons.
It was stated that 500 or 600 houses had been pulled down in the neighbourhood for the purposes of the railway. It was quite clear that another licence was not required. Licence refused.
