I've been researching my ancestors from the Ealing area called the Edens, who ran a large bakery and restaurant business in the area and found that one of the daughters went on to run The Bell in Hendon. *
Eliza Caroline Pemberton (nee Eden) 1862 -1940 was my Great Aunt. She married Thomas George Pemberton 1862 -1919.
They are shown running The Bell on the census for 1891,1901 and 1911.
Eliza carried on running the pub after Thomas's death and is shown again on the 1939 Record, along with their only daughter, Doris, as Manageress.
