My great grandfather, Francis Lambert DAVIES– (23 Nov 1866 - Mar 1952) according to the 1901 census, was the publican here *+.
In the 1891 census, he was a barman at his brother Lorenzo's public house at the Pyrotechnists Arms, 39 Nunhead Green. Prior to this he was at his brother Lorenzo's public house in 1881 at the Fountain, 35 New Street, Southwark St John.
